Why can't I share a directory on my virtual drive?

If a global mounting point has been added for the drive, directories can be shared. It is only when directories on drives mounted using a local mounting point that cannot be shared. Refer to the AddMountingPoint method's documentation for more information about the difference between global and local mounting points.
